    YOUTH PRACTICES (AA/AAA)

    • We are excited to announce that Skate City will be providing additional practice times at the Aurora Skate City Location, as well as the Xfinity Roller Sports Arena. The practices will be for AA and AAA players 10-13yrs of age and 14-16yrs old.
    • Conducting these practices will be a high level coaching staff, including the following; Kevin Dwyer, Kendall Curtis, and Conor Parker.
    • The goal of these practices is to develop youth players involved in our Skate City Hockey programs to start understanding inline hockey at a higher level.
    • Players attending these practices will be able to participate in our Stallions program if they wish.
    • The Stallions program consists of playing high-level tournaments outside of the Skate City program. There is no additional cost for tournament entry fees or practice costs. All expenses for the Stallions are covered with the $25.00 monthly subscription. Players that play in the Stallions program will need their own Stallions home and away jerseys, Stallions pants and Stallions gear bags. The cost for all four items is $150.00 plus tax.
    • We are planning on starting these practices on November 4th in Aurora for our Denver area customers and November 6th at the Arena for Colorado Springs customers. Times TBD

    Kevin Dwyer: Bio
Kevin grew up in Aurora, Colorado at the Skate City Aurora location, where he started playing in the Rec League, and shortly joined the Cougars Club program. From there, Kevin went on to win a High School State Championship for Smoky Hill High School. After high school, Kevin was rewarded with a grant to Lindenwood University for roller hockey. He won two D1 national championships during his stint at Lindenwood. In 2019, Kevin went on to be one of the goalies for the Senior Men’s USA World team, where they captured a gold medal in Barcelona. Kevin is now the Manager and Director of Hockey of the Skate City Aurora location, and plays for the Konixx Pro team.

    Kendall Curtis: Bio
Kendall started her hockey career at Skate City Academy at five years old. She started ice hockey a few years later with Boulder Valley Ice Association for one season, then Colorado Select Girls Hockey Association for the remainder of her youth hockey years. She took third at the USA Hockey National Tournament with her U19AAA team in 2011, and was named the alternate captain her senior year in 2012. Kendall was recruited by Ohio State University to play on their Varsity Women’s Ice Hockey team. Once again, she was an alternate captain her senior year, and was selected to be a part of the Wolstein Leadership Academy, a select group of leaders from all varsity teams. Following her collegiate career, Kendall returned to roller hockey, joining Team USA and competing in two World Tournaments (Asiago, 2018, Barcelona, 2019), winning gold medals in both events.

    Conor Parker: Bio
Conor started playing hockey at the age of five in Larkspur, Colorado. His love for the sport began with playing street and pond hockey growing up. His passion for the sport continued to grow and eventually he started playing competitive ice hockey at the age of twelve for the Colorado Rampage. Conor eventually progressed to play college hockey for the Saddleback College Gauchos and the Colorado State Rams. His college hockey career allowed him to progress to the next level, which was playing for several professional teams. Conor first played for Huntington Beach Reebok in the AIHL, and then moved to play for Revision Vanquish in the MLRH. Ultimately, he achieved his goal of playing professional hockey overseas for the Vierzon Predateurs in the Ligue Elite where he appeared in the finals for the French Cup.
